The EcoVadis evidence check, step by step
Upload your EcoVadis questionnaire export. ClimateFluent checks the export, and every file you add, against EcoVadis's own document guide, and shows which files are likely to be rejected, the rule behind each and the fix.
Four ways to use it
Your first result on the web
Free. Upload the export and the Summary page lists the files likely to be rejected with the rule and the fix, what to upload first, where each theme stands, what companies like yours are asked for, and policy templates to adapt.
The same checks in ChatGPT or Claude
A review from our agents and an advisor
Free. Press Ask for a review on the Summary page. A ClimateFluent advisor reads your files and the plan with our review agents and tells you in writing what to change before you submit. The printable review lists the files to fix, the plan by phase and the guidance behind each finding.
Preparation with you
Paid. The EcoVadis pack: an evidence matrix mapped to your activated criteria, the submission, and a corrective-action plan for reassessment, scoped in writing before we start.
Start
- On the evidence check page, give your company name and work email, then press Check your evidence free.
- Open the sign-in link we email you. It works for 15 minutes and opens your company's workspace.
- Under Start a project, choose the questionnaire export and press Start project and import. Your first result opens about a minute later.

Questions
Which file do I upload first?
The questionnaire export: the Excel workbook you download from your EcoVadis questionnaire. It carries the question codes, impact labels, your answers, document names and, for a reassessment, last cycle's rejection reasons. Up to 10 MB, or paste the text of the export instead.
Which file types can I add as evidence, and how large?
PDF, Word (DOC, DOCX), Excel (XLS, XLSX), PowerPoint (PPT, PPTX), OpenDocument (ODT, OTT, ODS, ODP, SXW, STW), images (JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP) and TXT, up to 30 MB each. EcoVadis's methodology names PDF, DOCX, XLSX, JPG and PNG, so use those where you can, with selectable text rather than a scan.
How many documents can we upload to EcoVadis?
Up to 55 new documents per assessment. The Documents page in the workspace counts them for the cycle. One current version from one site is enough.
Should we delete a rejected file in EcoVadis?
Keep it. Deleting frees no space and cannot be undone. Unlink it from the answer and link the replacement.
Which languages does the check work in?
The workspace and its guidance are in English. For a document in Hindi or a state language, add a one-page English summary as page 1 of the same PDF.
Who sees our files?
The members of your company's workspace (contributors see their own themes) and the ClimateFluent staff who run the workspace. Files sit in a private store and are served only to signed-in members with access. When you upload a file, it is converted to text once to suggest its dates and the company name, and that text is discarded. The privacy policy, section 9, has the detail; section 8 covers ChatGPT and Claude.
How do we delete a file or the workspace?
The company owner deletes a document from the Documents page. To delete a project, the company or your account, write to hello@climatefluent.com.
